This is an opportunity to shape the HR function within a fast-paced, ambitious company, bringing structure, consistency, and great energy to everything from recruitment and engagement to facilities and culture.
The role:
Reporting directly to the leadership team, you'll have full responsibility for the HR agenda while also supporting broader business operations. My client is looking for a standalone HR Manager to take the lead on people, culture, and operational support as the business continues to grow.
The main responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, providing professional advice to managers and employees.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks that reflect best practice and support a positive culture.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns, from drafting job descriptions and managing agencies to onboarding and induction.
- Design and embed onboarding and development processes to support employee retention and engagement.
- Manage employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance management) in line with legislation and company values.
- Partner with managers to identify learning and development needs, coordinating training and career pathways.
- Support leadership in shaping and promoting company culture, values, and engagement initiatives.
- Partner with the leadership team to align people strategy with organisational goals and future growth plans.
- Lead workforce planning and succession initiatives to ensure the business has the right structure and capabilities.
- Support change management, organisational design, and internal communication during periods of expansion or restructuring.
- Manage supplier relationships related to office operations.
- Lead wellbeing and sustainability initiatives to enhance employee experience and workplace culture.
The ideal candidate:
- Similar HR experience (ideally in a growing SME, manufacturing, or operational environment).
- Strong understanding of NI employment law and best practice.
- Experience managing facilities or office operations.
- Ability to build relationships and coach managers effectively.
- CIPD Level 5+ qualification.
