HR Manager - Dublin - Award winning organisation
MCS Group is delighted to be chosen to partner with a multi-award-winning organisation, as they look to add an HR Manager to their team, on a full-time permanent basis, based in Dublin.
You will be joining a global organisation who have gone from strength to strength over recent years, seeing the business expand, opening new sites while working with a wide range of exciting brands.
The role:
As the HR Manager you will be responsible for providing expert advice, guidance and consultancy services to the local team, and contributing to Group objectives, while supporting a performance, learning and service driven culture
The main responsibilities:
- Provide robust HR advice and guidance to Partners, Directors and Senior managers, acting as a trusted advisor on all people related issues.
- Be proactive and supportive to managers in respect of guidance and working methods on individual and organisational development, policies, procedures, good practice and working methods necessary to enhance performance.
- Lead and take full accountability for delivery of both regular and ad-hoc people related projects.
- Take a lead role locally in the HR annual business planning, performance management, salary and bonus processes.
- Support the HR Director in the identification of talent and appropriate development positions globally.
- Support the recruitment and selection process to ensure that quality recruits are selected and introduced to the business in a seamless manner.
- Responsible for ensuring that all management policies and procedures are compliant with best practise globally and employment legislation locally.
- Ensure People and Culture initiatives are engaging, collaborative in design and of a high standard to attract, retain and build the capabilities of staff.
- Develop, maintain and role model a culture that is open to change and innovation, that supports collaboration, respect and accountability.
- Assist the Senior Leadership team to build an empowering workplace through effective performance management, feedback, coaching and support.
The ideal candidate:
- Extensive experience operating at a senior HR level, within a professional service environment.
- A proven track record in delivering sound generalist HR support and advice including performance management, talent development and employee engagement policies, to all levels within a medium / large sized business.
- Exposure to Ireland employment law and local legislation is essential.
