HR Generalist

HR Generalist - Monaghan - Permanent

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a market-leading FMCG based in Monaghan, who are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support key areas across the employee lifecycle with a particular focus on recruitment, absence management, employee relations, and engagement initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage absence processes including daily and weekly reporting, policy compliance, and welfare meetings
• Support recruitment from advertisement to onboarding, including conducting interviews and issuing contracts
• Deliver and support employee engagement initiatives and events
• Participate in employee relations processes such as investigations, grievances, and probation reviews
• Maintain HR records and trackers for absence, recruitment, right to work, probation, and more
• Serve as a key point of contact for HR-related queries, letters, and documentation

The Ideal Candidate

• 1-2 years' experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Officer role
• Proficient in MS Office and HR-related systems
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• CIPD-qualified or working towards (advantageous)
• Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing (advantageous)
• A team player with strong communication and relationship-building skills
