Job Description

HR Business Partner - Permanent - North Dublin

MCS Group is delighted to partner with a growing manufacturing organisation, as they look to add an HR Business Partner to their team, on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role:

As the HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with the needs and challenges of the organisation. Your role will involve partnering closely with management to understand the specific requirements of operations while ensuring compliance.

The successful candidate must have strong practical experience and knowledge of Irish Employment Law.

This role is perfect for someone who is keen to get involved in HR projects and change management initiatives.

The main responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR guidance tailored to the needs of operations, aligning HR initiatives with production goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR issues, such as workforce planning, performance management and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies customised for the organisation, focusing on recruiting candidates with relevant industry experience and skills.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure recruitment processes comply with best practice.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance on all HR.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures address the unique needs of the organisation, including training requirements, shift patterns, and health benefits.
  • Utilise HRIS systems to manage employee data, track certifications, and maintain compliance records.
  • Support change management initiatives within the organisation.

The ideal candidate:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with the most recent experience at HR Business Partner level.
  • Strong practical experience and knowledge of Irish Employment Law.
  • Manufacturing (Desirable).
  • Must have own transport with full clean driving license.
