HR Assistant - Food Manufacturing - Dungannon - Temporary
MCS is delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation based in County Tyrone who are looking to add an HR Assistant to their team on a temporary, 6 months basis.
This role offers an immediate start date.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior HR Officer, the HR Assistant will provide to the HR function, and duties will span across all generalist HR activities. Key responsibilities include -
- Complete daily absence and weekly trackers ensuring all absence data is accurate.
- Liaise with managers to create and update Job adverts and descriptions.
- Organise interviews and partake when required.
- Prepare paperwork for all new starts and ensure effective compliance with all new hire processes.
- Ensure all processes for both new starts and leavers are completed within a timely manner.
- Liaise with the training team to ensure inductions are organised.
- Maintain good working knowledge of company systems and processes and manage all HRIS.
- Work closely with senior staff in the organisation of all disciplinaries and grievances.
- Support the HR team as a key point of communication for HR related queries.
- Support with employee engagement activities.
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have -
- Experience in working within the HR function with a sound knowledge of the full generalist remit.
- HR Degree or CIPD qualification.
- Experience in suing HR systems and/or good working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.
- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
