HR Analyst | FMCG | Belfast | Hybrid working | Competitive salary
Our client, a leading food retail and wholesale business, is looking for a temporary HR Analyst to support their HR & Operations team. This organisation are industry leaders across the island of Ireland, and pride themselves on strong values and a community focus.
The Role
As HR Analyst, you will manage HR systems, payroll coordination, and deliver accurate reporting across all HR functions. You'll work closely with Rewards, HR, and Finance teams to maintain and analyse all HR systems and data. This role is full-time, on an initial temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Systems Management: Maintain and update the HRIS and L&D systems to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and consistency across the business
- HR Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards on key HR metrics (e.g. turnover, absence, diversity), supporting leadership insight and decision-making
- Payroll data preparation: Ensure accurate coordination of payroll data (e.g. starters, leavers, contractual changes, benefits), working closely with the Rewards team and external providers
- Employee Queries: Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related questions from employees and line managers
- Vendor Liaison: Work with system vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure GDPR compliance and data integrity
- Operational HR Support: Support onboarding/offboarding, training record maintenance, and performance development tracking
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR processes and data practices
About You
- Experience in a HR admin or assistant role, ideally in a large or multi-site organisation
- Advanced Excel skills, confidence working with large datasets, and experience with HRIS or payroll systems desirable
- CIPD qualification or relevant degree desirable
