Head of Timber Frame Construction

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a leading employer across Ireland and the UK, to recruit a Senior level candidate to join their growing team as Head of Timber Frame Manufacturing.

You will have a hands-on approach to managing and co-ordinating the activities of the timber frame business through the achievement of production metrics including throughput, changeover times, minimising downtime and driving ongoing improvement.

The successful candidate requires a strong Construction background, with customer focus underpinned by sales and commercial acumen.

Reporting to the Group Head of Timber Frame, this person will be required to ensure that all orders are manufactured and despatched in a timely fashion and to ensure that all operational, administration, H & S and business controls are adhered to.

You will;

• Develop and execute the overall business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
• Provide market insights, strategic advice and sale focused.
• Overall responsibility for the estimating, design, operations, and sales functions
• Develop and implement business plans to improve cost-efficiency.
• Maintain positive and long-lasting customer relations.
• Oversee the company's business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures in Ireland.
• Hand-on approach in supervising, guiding, and delegating duties across the team.
• Assess, manage, and resolve problematic developments and situations.
• Build and enhance the company's profile across the markets its services
• To ensure the plants meet their customer quality, service and safety goals through effective management of sites
• Establish strong working relationships with all departments ensuring a cohesive approach to delivery of budgeted metrics and other key performance indicators
