With a target of 80% renewable electricity by 2030 in Northern Ireland, this strategic role will shape and deliver future power market developments and innovations that support system decarbonisation and technological integration.

As Future Power Markets Development Manager, you will lead a team of analysts to develop forward looking strategies, manage a pipeline of market development projects, and integrate emerging technologies such as offshore wind, green hydrogen, and energy storage. You'll engage with key stakeholders, build partnerships, and contribute to regulatory and policy evolution.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing a future market opportunity pipeline.
• Developing integration strategies for new technologies.
• Creating route-to-market strategies for low-carbon solutions.
• Building collaborative partnerships and leading cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate:

• Relevant third level qualification with 8+ years' experience in energy project development.
• Proven leadership and team management capability.
• Track record in policy-led project development.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience mentoring teams and aligning skills with market trends.
• Effective communicator, especially in regulatory/technical contexts.

It would be desirable if you have experience with the SEM, TSOs, market codes, renewable policy, and working in regulated environments is a plus.
