Finance Assistant

Are you a finance professional with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy? This Finance Assistant role offers the chance to be a key part of a busy finance team, supporting essential tasks like invoicing, reconciliations, and day-to-day finance operations to help keep everything running smoothly.

The role:

• Process purchase invoices and keep records up to date.
• Help with bank reconciliations by matching payments and receipts.
• Raise and send customer invoices when needed.
• Check and update supplier and customer information.
• Use finance systems to input data and run basic reports.
• Support the finance team with general admin and filing.
• Help answer finance-related queries from suppliers or colleagues.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a finance function experience to include processing invoices.
• Be able to demonstrate experience in a finance function experience to include bank reconciliations.

Desirable:

• Part qualified accountant or IATI/AAT qualification
