Engineering Manager (Java)

MCS is delighted to be partnering with a global powerhouse seeking a talented engineering manager to join their Belfast tech hub. This is a unique opportunity for a Lead Engineer looking for a path into engineering management.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing two scrum teams, around 12 engineers in total and will work closely with the senior director of engineering defining technical strategy and direction for future products. This is a highly technical role and you will be over viewing architecture and ensuring best coding standards are being met within the team.

The Requirements

- 5+ Years in Object Orientated Development

- 2+ Years of experience in Java and Springboot

- 1+ Year of experience in a mentor-ship / coaching capacity

The Package

- Salary Up to £85k

- Up to 15% Bonus

- Flexible working (Remote Option)
