Engineering Manager (Pharma/Medical Device)

As the Engineering Manager you will:

• Be responsible for the leadership and development of Facilities and Process Maintenance, Critical Utilities, Process Engineering & Equipment Validation teams.
• Oversee acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, disposition of building systems, and production equipment
• Identify areas for engineering and financial improvement and enable their inception while maintaining an appropriate level of availability and reliability of equipment (Asset Life Cycle Management).
• Responsible for the successful implementation of highly technical or involved engineering projects in the creation and development of automatic, semi-automatic and manually controlled production machines, and auxiliary equipment
• Develop strategy and lead the implementation of systems and processes that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation
• Charter, track metrics for, and lead continuous improvement efforts and Reliability-Centered-Maintenance / Equipment Reliability aspects

You will have:

• A Degree-level qualification or equivalent or relevant experience within a Science or Engineering related discipline
• Minimum 2 years' experience in either pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical manufacturing or other highly regulated environment
• Experience of current GMPs, SOPs, Quality System Regulation, and ISO Requirements
• Experience with plant systems typically found in pharmaceutical GMP production, including clean steam, Water for Injection, autoclaves etc.
