Engineer - Systems Operation

MCS Group is recruiting a System Operations Engineer for our client based in Belfast.

Help keep the lights on. We're looking for an engineer to support the secure and efficient operation of the Northern Ireland power system. You'll plan and analyse the grid (including loadflow studies), manage outages, voltage control, generator testing, and risk, while working closely with the Control Centre and key stakeholders. You'll also contribute to operational policy, innovation, and compliance.

What we're looking for:

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) + 2 years' experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in power system operations or similar.

Desirable: power system analysis, loadflow tools, industry knowledge.
