Embedded Software Developer- Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify software for embedded systems to enhance performance and efficiency
• Analyse user requirements and create tailored software solutions
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues
• Collaborate across teams to define specifications, requirements, and solutions
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Prioritise tasks and manage project deadlines with minimal supervision

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• You will have been working in a commercial software engineering position for a few years now, and will have spent a proportion of this time developing with C, C++, or Python.
• You will have demonstrable experience of developing embedded software.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Comfortable managing ambiguity and making informed decisions under changing requirements

Desirable:

• Experience with databases, APIs, and working in large matrixed organisations
• Exposure to senior leadership interaction

Duration: Circa 4 Months
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland - due to the nature of the work, the majority of the contract will be ON SITE.
