Electrical Design Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer for our client who produces high-quality automation solutions that impact the execution of real-world machinery and processes.

As the Electrical Design Engineer you will have:

• Third-level qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science or a qualified electrician with design experience
• Familiar with electrical controls, AC/DC motors, servo motors, invertors, general panel equipment, drives and pneumatics
• Experience in using Software packages such as Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical
• Knowledge & understanding of PLC programming and controls methodologies

You will:

• Develop 2D & 3D electrical designs for complex automation projects
• Generation of budget and detailed quotations for panels and installations
• Source of electrical components for designs
• Create test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs
• Assist in electrical debugging of systems
• Liaise with customers & suppliers
