Job Description

MCS Group are delighted to be working alongside a Global E-Learning Software company to recruit a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their growing team and play a pivotal role in maximising the digital performance and online customer experience.

The successful individual will be highly skilled and data-driven to optimise the digital presence and ensure an exceptional user experience across all digital touchpoints. You will use insights to create and execute an optimisation roadmap to improve all aspects of the website customer journey funnel for key customer personas, across all global website platforms.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the global website portfolio, outlining findings and recommended actions to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of website data/user behaviour to identify areas for optimisation and improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital optimisation roadmap to enhance user experience, conversion rates, and overall website performance.
  • Implement optimisation tactics and ensure seamless user experience across all devices and platforms.
  • Perform regular audits of website performance, identifying and resolving any technical issues or barriers to conversion, and any accessibility issues.
  • Use data insights, heuristic analysis and UX analytics tools to identify customer pain points.
  • Present recommendations to further enhance the customer journey, always striving to identify new opportunities across the digital channel.
  • Implement the optimum tracking configuration across Google Ads, Social Media, retargeting and web platforms to ensure clear attribution and optimisation of conversions is in place.
  • Monitor search terms, rankings and analytics to assess SEO performance of websites and make recommendations for improvement. Audit and monitor SEO issues for smooth crawlability, and performance.
  • Project manage the delivery of new feature enhancements and technology deployments to support customer journey funnel and marketing channel conversion.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation to ensure that website changes and new developments are tested to achieve results.
  • Maximise usage of digital tools to engage website users and drive interactions/engagement
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gain insights into user behaviours and preferences.
  • Identify opportunities for personalisation and segmentation to deliver personalised website experiences to different user segments.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of optimisation efforts, communicating findings and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital optimisation.

Essential Criteria

  • 3+ years of B2B experience in digital optimisation, digital marketing, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in implementing successful optimisation strategies, resulting in improved website performance and conversion rates
  • Proficient in using web analytics and heatmap tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Search Console to track and analyse website performance, and track conversions across multiple channels
  • Demonstrable track record of effectively communicating complex data insights, and building trust with stakeholders, to contribute to data-driven decision making
  • Excellent, industry-leading conversion rate optimisation skills including strong knowledge of typical customer journeys and the factors which deliver a successful online experience and optimised conversion rates
