Desktop Support Engineer

MCS Group is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join a global FinTech. This Desktop Support Engineer will be focused on ensuring internal systems users have a great user experience, and have their tickets and issues resolved in a timely, and efficient manner. This Desktop Support Engineer will have solid Second Line Support Experience, have worked closely with a 3rd line team, and will ideally have hands-on knowledge of working with InTune, SCCM, and Citrix.

The Role:

• You will be providing support for Windows 10/11
• You will provide technical support to internal customers, assisting them by phone, email, and face-to-face.
• This role is suited to someone who enjoys innovating new processes and finding new opportunities to automate and streamline current ways of working.
• You will work closely with the 1st line team, and escalate to the 3rd line team as/when necessary
• You will build, and deliver deployments using InTune and SCCM

The Person:

• You MUST HAVE hands-on experience working with MS InTune to be eligible for this role
• This role is ideal for an experienced Second Line Support Engineer with some 3rd line support experience/exposure.
• Prior experience in supporting Windows 10/11 and working with SCCM is essential.
• You will have experience in packaging and deploying applications.
• You will thrive on providing great customer service, with a proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels
