Data Scientist

Data Scientist - Hybrid, Belfast.

We are recruiting for a Data Scientist to join a forward-thinking technology company in Belfast. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems with data and is excited by the potential of AI and analytics to drive innovation.

You'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to design, build, and deliver impactful data-driven solutions. The role is primarily delivery-focused but also offers the chance to contribute to solution design, proof-of-concepts, and business development support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver data science and analytics solutions across multiple industries.

• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to gather requirements, analyse data, and validate outputs.

• Develop and implement descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models.

• Write efficient, testable code and produce high-quality visualisations, reports, and documentation.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of data modelling, machine learning, or data analytics.

• Hands-on experience delivering data analytics projects as part of a team.

• Experience in collaborative software development using version control (preferably Git).

• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

• Exposure to scoping, feasibility analysis, or prototype development with senior stakeholders.

• Comfortable contributing to technical discussions and implementing solutions defined by project leads.

Desirable Skills

• Strong Python programming skills.

• Knowledge of data science and ML frameworks

• Experience with NLP, tabular data, or computer vision.
