Job Description
MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Control Panel Design Engineer for our client who is Ireland's leading Automation & Controls distributor. They provide Automation and Control solutions for Ireland's largest Life Science and Manufacturing companies as well as large scale infrastructure projects in the Data Centre and Power Generation spaces.

As the Control Panel Design Engineer you will have:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field
- Designing, costing, and managing the build of control panels
You will:
- Produce control panel design drawings
- Be responsible for Risk management in areas that could affect the delivery schedule
- Assist wider team with pricing of works when required
- Client interaction from a commercial and technical perspective
- Ensure quality and standardisation across control panels being manufactured
- Ensure that control panel designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety codes
- Assist with the management of the manufacturing process, collaborating with workshop personnel, ensuring smooth assembly of panels
- Conduct thorough design reviews and validation tests to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and reliability of control panel designs, addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends related to control panel design and automation, and actively contribute to process improvements and innovation initiatives within the organisation
