Contract Software Developer

MCS Group is delighted to be working once again with a Northern Irish success story that are growing their engineering team and looking for a talented Full Stack .NET Engineer to join them on a contract basis for 12 months.

You'll be part of a collaborative group building modern, scalable applications. The role blends back-end development with .NET Core and front-end work using React, giving you variety and ownership across the stack.

(Limited Hybrid - Belfast)

Responsibilities:

• Designing and building new features in .NET Core and C#
• Developing clean, responsive front end interfaces in React
• Working with SQL databases and cloud-based services (Azure)
• Collaborating with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Playing an active role in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

What we're looking for:

• Solid experience with .NET Core/C#
• Strong front end skills with React (hooks, components, state management)
• Good understanding of SQL and database design
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms a bonus
• Someone who enjoys solving problems, sharing ideas, and building things that last
