Are you passionate about managing priorities, and ensuring excellent service delivery? This role offers the opportunity to support key processes, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the smooth operation of a busy local government organisation.
The role:
- Provide guidance on policy, legislation, and regulatory matters.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations for management.
- Handle and respond to internal and external queries in line with policies.
- Maintain records, process data, and manage procurement tasks.
- Support financial management through monitoring, calculations, and reporting.
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure confidentiality, compliance with GDPR, and timely task completion.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate literacy and numeracy
- Provide administrative support through diary management, minute-taking, filing, and handling correspondence.
- Manage competing priorities, respond to queries, and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Use Microsoft Office and financial systems to process payments and manage records efficiently.
