Power BI / Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst

We're working with a major multi-division organisation seeking a Power BI / Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst to take ownership of their reporting suite and drive smarter decision-making across the business.

The Opportunity

This is a standalone role within a growing IT and Finance function - ideal for someone who wants full ownership of reporting solutions, end-to-end.
You'll partner with senior stakeholders to enhance how data is collected, visualised, and used, with direct impact on operational and strategic performance.
The business operates across multiple sectors (including construction, manufacturing, property, and renewables), so no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reports.
• Extract and interpret data from SQL databases and core business systems.
• Support and improve ERP platforms (Microsoft Business Central preferred but not essential).
• Troubleshoot system and reporting issues, liaising with internal users and third parties.
• Partner with senior management to drive data-led decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve system efficiency and visibility.

About You

• Hands-on experience using Power BI to build dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving approach.
• Knowledge of SQL, data extraction, and data modelling principles.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
• Previous exposure to ERP or business systems is beneficial.
• Degree or HLA in IT, Business Analytics, Computer Science or similar preferred.

• £32,000-£34,000 base salary (DOE) + biannual bonus.
• Flexibility for exceptional junior candidates (£28,000-£30,000).

• Onsite role based in Magherafelt, with occasional travel to other local sites.
