The Role
They are looking for a Business Analyst II to join their growing team, supporting a range of digital transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys breaking down complex business challenges into structured, actionable insights.
You'll work closely with business and technology teams to analyse processes, identify pain points, and design solutions using structured techniques like process flows, use cases, and data mapping. If you thrive on problem-solving and want to help shape digital initiatives from the ground up, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to analyse business challenges, breaking them down into structured components using process flows, use cases, and business models.
- Document clear, structured requirements that can be easily understood by both technical and non-technical teams.
- Support process improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to map out system integrations and workflows.
- Ensure strong written and verbal communication, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in testing and validation, ensuring solutions meet business needs before they go live.
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical mindset - ability to break down complex problems logically and communicate solutions clearly.
- Experience with structured problem-solving techniques like process flows, use cases, or business modelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate ideas for technical and business audiences.
- Experience working with digital platforms, system integrations, or process optimisation is a plus.
- Curious mindset - someone who actively learns and applies business analysis techniques.
- Experience with portals & API integrations in an enterprise settin
- Insurance, fintech, or financial services experience is beneficial but not required
- Open to BA I level candidates who show strong potential and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Location & Working Setup
- Hybrid role based in Belfast - candidates must be willing to work onsite with the team 3 days per week.
