The role:

  • Identify and evaluate strategic commercial and investment sites, including those not currently on the market, for future development opportunities.
  • Collect, manage, and maintain sensitive investment and business data to support effective client and project management.
  • Develop performance monitoring frameworks and dashboards using research, surveys, and KPIs such as footfall, vacancies, and sentiment analysis.
  • Conduct and analyse stakeholder surveys to influence investment decisions and meet funder requirements.
  • Monitor investment trends and sectoral data to make evidence-based recommendations and support strategic planning, including employment land tracking.
  • Manage internal and external funding processes, ensuring compliance with funder requirements through evaluations and verification checks.
  • Build and maintain partnerships across sectors while promoting the area as an attractive investment location and providing high-quality, data-informed reporting.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

  • Have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
  • Extensive previous experience of undertaking research, collating data, analysing information, identifying issues, maintaining data systems, and making effective evidence recommendations
  • Experience of developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
