Azure DevOps Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to be assisting a valued client on their search for a DevOps Engineer with strong Azure skills to join their growing international team.

The Role:

• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML-based).
• Automating infrastructure with ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Managing and optimising Azure resources (VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, Networking).
• Deploying and running containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Writing automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Embedding monitoring, security, and compliance into everything you build.
• Supporting incident response, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

The Person:

• Proven experience in an Azure DevOps role.
• Strong background with ARM templates (JSON) and YAML pipelines.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Good knowledge of Git workflows and version control.
• Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Hands-on with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights).
• Strong problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset.

Salary up to 70,000 DOE with healthcare, pension and various extras!
