Overview
MCS Group are delighted to be recruiting for an Account Executive on behalf of an innovative technology company operating within the collaboration and meeting-room solutions industry. This organisation develops cutting-edge software used by enterprise end users to enhance communication, productivity, and in-room meeting experiences. As an Account Executive, you will focus on driving new business with end users, engaging directly with IT and Facilities leaders responsible for meeting room technology and workplace collaboration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, targeting IT decision makers responsible for meeting room and collaboration technology.
  • Self-generate pipeline through cold outreach, field activity, events, and creative prospecting methods.
  • Lead consultative discovery sessions to uncover technical requirements and commercial pain points, progressing opportunities with tailored demos and proposals.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and navigate complex buying groups.
  • Bring commercial insight to prospects-challenging assumptions and educating customers on market trends and meeting-room challenges.
  • Own and deliver against revenue targets with a results-driven, ethical approach.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, channel partners, and product teams to drive brand visibility and momentum.


Essential Skills & Criteria

  • 3+ years' experience in B2B software, SaaS, AV, or collaboration-technology sales.
  • Proven track record of hunting, self-sourcing pipeline, and closing deals independently.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with confidence in running discovery, delivering tailored demos, and influencing decision makers.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Highly proactive, disciplined, and comfortable with field-based work.
  • Results-focused with a high level of integrity and commitment to customer value.
