Our Sponsorships

Partnerships and Sponsorships at MCS

Since we were established in 2008, MCS has built partnerships with multiple organizations, community groups, charities, and educational bodies across the business community and workforce in Northern Ireland.

As our business grows into new geographies and new territories, our relentless commitment to the economy and community will continue to grow too. A core part of this is the partnerships and sponsorships we have formed with local businesses.

Digital DNA

  • We are one of the headline sponsors of Digital DNA, Ireland's leading business and technology event and community. Digital DNA has firmly established itself as a community of changemakers who are tackling the big challenges facing business and society and provides a platform to connect with the innovators and businesses who are building the future.
  • They have several events every year, including their headline event, the annual Digital DNA awards ceremony and last year their inaugural Climate X event.
  • As part of our sponsorship with DDNA, we work with Sentinus supporting IT and Digital workshops in secondary schools across the province. These workshops are focused on coaching kids on how to build Technology that helps and enables our modern-day lives, all schools come along to a final competition day at the City Hall, Belfast where they get to present their app and prizes include a trip to Silicon Valley to meet some amazing tech firms such as Google and Facebook.

Environmental & Sustainability

“MCS goal is to re-invest back into our communities, championing the environment and proactively making a difference.”

Sustainability is of utmost importance to MCS, and a key part of our Strategic Plan is to become a truly net-zero business, offsetting carbon and working to decrease our environmental impact overall. As part of our Strategic Plan, we have taken a holistic view of our responsibilities as a business and a major part of this was becoming an ISO 14001 accredited organisation in 2022.

To match our environmental goal, we have set ourselves the following actions:

• Plant the MCS Forest through our partnership with local charity Restorify (4,000 trees - one tree for every permanent placement we make in the next 3 years) – 700 planted to date.

• Achieve ISO Environmental accreditation.

• Map out an annual calendar of sustainability initiatives involving the entire team.

• Signed the Climate Action Pledge, pledging to reduce our carbon footprint by 50% by 2030.

Our Partner Charity

Action for Children protects and supports children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. They ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to improve their lives.

MCS is very proud to be affiliated with Action for Children – Byte Night, each year we bring together businesses across NI to sleep out to raise money to support the needs of disadvantaged children in Northern Ireland. By intervening early, we can stop neglect and abuse, make life better for children with disabilities and put children right up to their twenties on a more positive path.

Last year as part of fundraising our Managing Director slept out on the side of FairHead cliff in Ballycastle and individually raised over £10,000.
