Matthew graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Business Sport Management, where he specialised in marketing, advertising, management, and event planning. Post-university, he spent over 2 years travelling throughout Asia and Australia, eventually settling in Sydney. When not searching for the top talent in Northern Ireland, he can be found back home in Fermanagh getting yellow/red cards for his local football team.
