MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside one of Northern Ireland's largest international engineering organisations to support their search for an experienced Project Design Engineer.

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, layouts (2D and 3D), and fabrication drawings within projects. You will produce accurate BOM's and ensure they are in line with the companies processes and liaise with suppliers to ensure the design is per manufacturing capacities. You will update the Engineering Manager and Project Manager on the project's status.

This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from a Design Engineering perspective and will offer a great chance to get involved with high-end bespoke customer solutions. This role offers the candidate the ability to be based in Cookstown or Newtownabbey

The Person -

You will have good experience gained in BOM creation, draughting, and Design for Manufacture coupled with exposure to working in a mechanical design engineering role. You will also be educated in an engineering discipline with proficiency in a 3D CAD package.
