MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively working in partnership with our manufacturing organisation based in Lisburn to recruit a Planner/Buyer for their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this specialist engineering company who through strong projections and growth planned for this year are recruiting supply chain professionals for their team.

As a Buyer you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all activities necessary to ensure timely production and delivery of quality products. You will be responsible for maintaining effective internal and external relationships to ensure all tactical sourcing activities support the needs of the business and meet the strategic goals and financial plans within the organisation.

The successful candidate:

• Will have at least 3 years planning or buying experience gained in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to use ERP systems and proficient excel and Microsoft office skills.
• You will be able to demonstrate your ability to understand MRP, techniques, principles, and concepts with the ability to handle and solve complex problems, whilst making sound decisions working with a high level of integrity. You will need to have a good understanding of manufacturing process and inventory control, alongside the ability to engage ethically and proactively with suppliers.
