MCS Group is currently working exclusively a specialist B2B finance provider with a demonstrated history of providing an unrivalled level of service, to recruit a Marketing & Development Manager for their expanding team of industry professionals.

As a brand-new role to the business, the Marketing & Development Manager will have full autonomy over the marketing function of the business including strategy, implementation, and budget management. With an ambitious but achievable target to double sales volume over the next 3-years, this in an exciting time for a self-driven team player to join a market leading financial services provider.

Reporting to the Director Team, the primary focus of the role will be to generate creative, sales focused marketing material to increase brand awareness in desired sectors, ultimately resulting in increased revenue for the organisation. There will also be a particular focus on maximising new sales from Affinity Partners, Networks and sector specific Trade Bodies.

This B2B role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced, creative, and driven marketing professional to make this role their own, and join an industry leading organisation on their next phase of growth.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement various online and offline strategies to help drive sales via increased brand awareness and become the "Go-To" Company for Fee Finance.
  • Engage with core-market audiences to help secure new Introducers (Accountants, Solicitors and Insurance brokers)
  • Launch new campaigns with Trade Bodies resulting in an increase in new introducer numbers
  • Plan, organise, and implement webinars, videos, interview, and interactive case studies
  • Identify and attend networking events to develop new contacts and increase brand awareness
  • Work closely with sales team members across the UK & Ireland to develop campaigns and content that will help drive new business
  • Responsible for the planning and control of the marketing budget, and continually track campaign performance to ensure that desired ROI is being achieved
  • Develop and deliver an effective social media strategy (paid and organic) ensuring that relevant content is delivered on time and to the right target audience
  • Ensure that all marketing communications material are compliant with all existing legal obligations
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all core values and visions are aligned
  • Market research exploring product development into new markets/territories.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree Qualified in Marketing, Communications, or a related subject area
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar B2B role (preferably banking, finance, or a professional service setting)
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful and profitable marketing campaigns
  • Budget management experience. Ensuring that budget is tracked with desired ROI achieved
  • Ability to work on initiative, as well as in team setting
  • Highly motivated team player with a drive for excellence
