MCS Group is recruiting a Head of Brand Marketing role on behalf of an exciting Tech start-up where you will be developing the brand strategy for a business that is disrupting a thriving consumer market.

The team includes some of the brightest talent in the tech sector across technology, finance and operations. The business has serious backing from leading investors and entrepreneurs. There is a huge scope for you to develop the brand where you will have the support from the team and the autonomy you need.

This is a start-up environment where you will have no red tape and no hoops to jump through. Decisions are made quickly, action follows. You won't have an internal team surrounding you in the early days, you will have some agency support but in a start-up you can expect to have the sleeves rolled up and be stuck in.

Some of the core areas of responsibility will include…

  • Brand strategy, including the setting of brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term.
  • Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media.
  • Interactive marketing, direct marketing campaigns, advertising, sales collateral, press releases, and executive presentations.
  • Ensuring brand, communication and tone of voice is consistent across all customer touchpoints.
  • Working closely with a 3rd party branding and marketing agency and influence/ support where needed to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to formulate and deliver offline and online brand marketing strategies.
  • Later down the line, build and manage a marketing team.
  • Meet agreed quarterly targets and KPIs.
