Waste Operations Supervisor

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a Large Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Waste Operations Supervisor on a Temporary contract.

The Role:

• Responsible for day to day operational delivery of services to include refuse collection, commercial waste collection, kerb-side recycling collection, street cleansing, bulky collection, deliveries, public conveniences and other cleaning.

• Schedule the ongoing workload of the Service, allocate work, monitor and report on progress maximising service efficiency's.

• Contribute to development of the technical functions of the Waste Service, including Fleet Management, Waste Collection, recycling and disposal and liaise with other officers in this regard.

The Person:

• Qualified to a minimum of degree level in a relevant discipline such as Management Practice or Environmental Service.

• Two year's experience in the Management of an Operational Service delivering successful outcomes.

• A full current driving licence.
