Trainee Accountant / Accounts Technician - South Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Practice located in South Belfast, looking to recruit for an Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

This company are Registered Auditors and Chartered Tax Advisors. A professional, forward-thinking accounting practice delivering tailored tax and accounting solutions to a wide client base.

With established offices in Co.Tyrone and Belfast, they provide a range of services to both private individuals and businesses. From accounts production and audit to business planning, tax advisory, and payroll. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and expanding practice.

Job Duties of the Trainee Accountant / Accounts Technician include:

• Preparation of accounts for smaller clients
• Assisting with the preparation of larger accounts
• VAT returns
• PAYE
• Bookkeeping
• Payroll

What you need to be the Successful Trainee Accountant / Accounts Technician?

• Experience in a mixed practice role is preference
• ATI / ATT Qualified or looking to do this
• Graduates with a placement year or work experience in a Practice
• Open to Payroll experience
• Keen to progress in Practice
• preference is ACA (open to ACCA)
