Trainee Accountant - Belfast
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading retail company based in Belfast to recruit for a Trainee Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a great role for someone who is ready to kick start their career in accountancy, either with previous accounts experience or an ambitious graduate!
The Company:
Our client is a leading retail company based in Belfast and have multiple sites across NI, ROI and Europe. They have a range of divisions within the business that provide an array of services and products to their customer base.
The Role:
The Trainee Accountant will provide support to the finance department in all areas of management and financial reporting, with an emphasis on the production of the weekly and monthly management accounts.
- Production of weekly management accounts to strict timelines
- Production of aspects of the periodic management accounts
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports to support the wider business
- Support the forecast and budget process
- Support during audits (both statutory and internal audits)
- Support the hard close process and completion of balance sheet reconciliations as required
- Any other reports/information as requested by the Management Accountant to support the finance team/wider business
What You Need to Succeed?
- Degree level education or AAT/ part qualified
- Commitment to join on of the professional exam bodies within 3 months of joining the company
- Access to own car
