Our client, a leading FinTech IT services provider based in Cambridge, is currently seeking a 1st line Support Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to work with a 40+team in Cambridge, with fantastic opportunities for personal and technical growth, as well as offering you the opportunity to travel around the globe, each quarter, honing your skills abroad.

You'll begin your journey on one of the best graduate programmes in the world - a 3 weeks intensive training course, fully subsidised, where you will learn your trade, before taking to your desk. You have the chance here to learn new skills, no two days will be the same.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for taking calls, and handling incidents or service requests as they come through the management system. This is a client focused support role, but will involve aspects of maintenance and service delivery.

Qualifications:

1+ years experience in a technical support role (financial services preferred) OR degree level qualification in a relevant field

Strong problem solving & analytical skills

Troubleshooting technical/non technical questions

Experience and understanding of Linux log files/command tools
