Software Team Lead

MCS Group is proud to be working with a growing software company based in Dublin in their search for a Software Team Lead. You will work in a flexible hybrid working model (at least 1 day a week in the office to say hello!) from their modern offices, leading a portion of their growing team in ensuring their innovative FinTech products are delivering to a high standard for clients.

(Flexible Hybrid - Dublin City)

Responsibilities:

• Coach and guide a small team of software developers in the Microsoft Tech Stack
• Collaborate with other leads and managers to ensure alignment on solution delivery.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Lead code reviews
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
• Continuously improve the performance of the team
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Microsoft and Javascript development

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years commercial development experience in complex projects including at least 3 years of leadership experience
• Strong people management experience required as opposed to purely technical leadership.
• Extensive experience in C#, .Net, Javascript, Rest API's and SQL.
• Experience from a leadership perspective in performance reviews, team motivation and driving technical improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Package:
