MCS Group is proud to be partnering with a hugely successful and well-established home-grown Belfast manufacturing company as they seek to recruit C++ Software Engineers. This organisation are leading the way globally with their ultra-high-performing scientific cameras, and their products are used across the world by some of the largest scientific organisations, ranging from the medical sector to space industry.
The Role:
- Work with C++ to create cutting-edge solutions in imaging software
- Gather requirements, solve technical problems and create innovative solutions
- Work as part of a strong and talented multi-functional team of Software Engineers, QAs, Product Managers and physicists
- Collaborate with the wider team across the whole software development lifecycle to create state-of-the-art customer solutions

The Person:
- BSc/BEng qualification in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or similar
- Ideally 3+ years of experience using C++
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the whole software development lifecycle
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attitude towards learning and development
- Experience with Image Analysis, Machine Learning or Life Sciences is desirable
