Social Media Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with a luxury goods company based in Belfast to recruit a Social Media Manager to join their ambitious team and plan, develop and execute the social media strategy.

The successful individual will be responsible for the planning, organising and producing the social media content and strategy across various platforms; primarily Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook. You will be responsible for building relationships through social media activity, analysing and reporting on key metrics and communicating findings to the Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a social media strategy, setting targets that meet brand and commercial objectives.
• Create a production schedule / posting plan to share with the team
• Report analytics to management and suggest changes and opportunities to pursue
• Create fun / engaging content utilsing the team and products
• Utilise / manage team of film / editors / photography to support content creation
• Shoot and edit content for socials, be involved in front of the camera
• Ensure brand messaging and tone of voice is consistent across all platforms
• Ensure a wide range of content forms to maximise platform growth.
• Remain aware of current trends and world events and be able to react through content
• Grow the social footprint and create product desirability.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in a similar Social Media related role with a strong understanding across all social channels, FB Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn
• Strong analytical skills across social media platforms and reporting on findings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong experience in film/editing for socials
• Genuine interest and awareness of social calendars and trends
• Personality for in front of the camera
