Job Description
MCS Group is proud to be working with a local success story in NI, to recruit a SHEQ Compliance Officer to join their team in Belfast.

Key responsibilities will include;
- Carry out risk assessments in conjunction with staff and consider how any risks could be reduced
- Advise and support staff when creating CoSHH assessments
- Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
- Ensure working practices are safe and comply with legislation
- Carry out regular internal audits covering ISO and 45001, BRC and FEMAS
- Support Clinty Laboratories with UKAS compliance where necessary
- Lead in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks
- Investigate incidents and accidents and ensure corrective actions are applied
- Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry
Essential Requirements
NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent
At least two years' experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of ISO and 45001
Knowledge of both NI and ROI Health & Safety legislation
