Senior Software Engineering Manager

With a market-disrupting product, highly talented global team and secure backing from some of the largest VCs globally, they are now seeking a motivated and dynamic Senior Engineering Manager to join their Belfast team!

The Role:

• Managing one of the most business-critical teams across the business, consisting of 6+ Software Engineers based across the UK and The Americas
• This is a hands-off role but you will be responsible for guiding and supporting software engineers from a technical perspective
• Building relationships and providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to software engineers across all levels
• Establishing efficient processes and assisting in technical discussions, embedding strong engineering practices and standards across the team to ensure efficient delivery
• Working closely with Product Managers, Designers and Sales & Marketing teams to shape the direction of the market-leading product

The Person:

• 2+ years of experience managing a technical team of software engineers
• Previous experience working as a Software Engineer, ideally at Senior level or above
• Experience working with product development and working with cross-functional teams such as Product, Design and Engineering
• Previous exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and CICD pipelines
• Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills
• You'll have a dynamic and adaptable attitude, comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
