Job Description
MCS Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a global software company, looking to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor to their new Belfast based team. Initially on a temporary basis, this role would have the potential of going permanent in the coming months.

The Role
As the successful Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Execute internal audits by planning, scoping, assessing controls, designing and executing risk-based audit programs, and identifying audit conclusions and recommendations
- Building strong relationships with business and technology partners
- Analyse the impact of control deficiencies and audit findings
- Assist with process and control improvements
- Prepare and maintain audit workpapers, document processes, risks and controls
- Manage the governance of internal audit function
- Other duties as outlined in the full job description
The Person
You will meet the following criteria:
- Previous Internal Audit experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, COSO, SOX or PCAOB rules
- Experience with auditing and assessment frameworks and professional standards
- Experience with cloud based software or SaaS companies and high-growth companies
- Recognised qualification is desired but not essential
- Experience with enterprise risk management and IT audits is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as a team
