Senior Incident Response Manager

MCS Group is seeking a Lead Incident Response Service Manager to join a giant of the Northern Irish technology sector. In this role, you will protect a global IT estate, ensure their infrastructure and critical applications are protected from Cyber attack, and coordinate their response to major incidents when they do occur.

• Remote working, you will need to be based in the UK
• Salary £80k-£90k depending upon your experience
• Early Finish on Friday along with flexible working options

The role

• Oversee all operations in response to cyber threats and incidents
• Coordinate and lead the team across incident response, detection and mitigation activities
• Report to senior management your findings using real-world data
• Continually assess and improve security practices on a global scale
• Be proactive and reactive to emerging cyber threats to ensure a secure environment

Needed to succeed

• A proven track record of leading an incident response team
• Be able to evidence strong knowledge of cyber security
• The ability to lead and get the best out of a team
• Cyber security certifications like CISSP or CISM would be a great benefit to have
