Senior Frontend Developer - JavaScript

MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering with a global Tech for Good giant as they establishing a presence here in Northern Ireland. They are expanding rapidly and are seeking a Senior Front-end Developer to join their dynamic team!

What You'll Do:

• Develop high-quality, maintainable code that handles errors and edge cases effectively.
• Make thoughtful design decisions and assist in other codebase areas when needed.
• Mentor and support your team, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
• Manage your tasks with confidence, even in the face of change and uncertainty.
• Innovate by suggesting and exploring new ideas that enhance our products and processes.
• Deploy applications to AWS and maintain smooth software releases using CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate within an Agile development framework.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or similar field, or relevant experience.
• 3+ years in a senior development role.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of TDD and experience with testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and testing at various levels.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
• Experience with backend architecture, microfrontends, web accessibility, or real-time systems is a plus.
• Experience working with distributed teams is a bonus.
