Senior Front End Developer - React/Java

MCS Group is proud to be working with an innovative company in the renewable sector as they search for a Senior React developer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced React developer with exposure to Java/Springboot on the back end, to grow within a forward thinking, collaborative team.

The role

You will be working closely with the technical architect to develop their client's web app. The role is predominantly front end focused with JavaScript and React but you will be involved in back end work with Java. This is a hands on position but there will be mentorship opportunities with more junior candidates.

• Developing new features for their web app
• Maintaining and adding features to mobile app (with Ionic)
• Involved in requirement gathering

The Person

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• Strong experience with React
• Experience with Java (Spring Boot desirable)
• A good eye for design
• Someone confident who can put their own ideas forward
• A portfolio of relevant work would be desirable
