MCS Group are exclusively looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a global IT company based in Belfast as they look to grow out their finance function.

The Company:

Our client is a global IT company based in Belfast with multiple sites across the UK, US and APAC regions. They specialise in software for the professional and financial services sectors. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant as they look to build out their accounting function in Belfast.

The Role:

As the successful Senior Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Senior Revenue Accounting Manager and will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare monthly bridge files from US GAAP;
• Support local statutory audit;
• Annual bridge files & financial statements;
• Prepare data for local statistical returns;
• Support automation projects;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Senior Financial Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Strong technical accounting experience;
• Strong communication skills.
