Job Description
Senior Employee Relations Partner
MCS Group has been chosen to partner with a large multi-site organisation, as they look to introduce a Senior Employee Relations Partner on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be joining an excellent organisation who have gone from strength to strength, currently going through a period to transformational change.
The role
The successful Senior Employee Relations Partner will partner with stakeholders at all levels across various sites to proactively provide the full range of HR services that enable the teams to achieve their business objectives and ensure effective people management practices are in place.
- Support the development of a positive employee relations culture and environment across the sites,
- Developing negotiating structures between trade Unions
- Establishing strategic consultative processes and mechanisms to ensure delivery outcomes are acheieved with stakeholder groups.
- Lead negotiations and consultations on change iniatiaves with trade unions.
- Lead on employee relations aspects of changes on organisation structure.
- Coordinate Tribunal & Fair Employment actions against Translink and liaise with HR BP's and legal respresentatives

This is a unionised environment and will require a strong HR professional that has experience of building rapport with various different stakeholders, including union representatives, ultimately fostering a positive culture.

The successful candidate
To apply for this outstanding Senior Employee People Partner opportunity, it is essential you possess the following:
- Degree level qualification with a minimum of 3 years relevant Senior HR experience in a large, complex organisation
OR
- If no Degree, a minimum of 5 years relevant Senior HR experience in a large, complex organisation
- At least 3 years relevant Senior HR experience in a unionised environment
- Experience of managing complex ER cases up to senior manager level
- Experience in planning & delivering employee relatons iniatives
- Experience of Project Management or Continious Improvement Projects from iniation to completion
- Experience of using MS Office packages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Desirable
- CIPD qualified
- Experience of contract negotiations, changes in Terms & Conditions
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience of working within a manufacturing/operations/construction organisation
- Experience of contract negotiation, changes in terms and conditions
