MCS Group are partnering with a well-known Public Sector organisation based in Belfast in their search for Senior Digital Communications Officer.

The Role:

The successful candidate will:

• Make recommendations on the implementation of digital communications and how to target that resource for digital campaigns, social media promotions and website/intranet developments
• Co-ordinate writing, editing, proofing and overseeing of production and distribution of quality content for both internal and external digital publications
• Keep up to date with digital industry developments and recommend as well as support the integration of the best tools relevant to the audience
• Co-ordinate day-to-day social calendar activities to promote the organisation and their cause
• Co-ordination of events, photo calls, video shoots, conferences and stakeholder and partnering events
• Recommend and implement changes to the organisations digital communications policies
• Deliver digital campaigns and promotions, collate e-newsletters, website content, case studies, blogs and surveys
• Direct line management responsibility, includes aspects of individual reviews, implementing personal development opportunities and delegation of responsibility

The Person:

As the successful candidate, you will meet the following criteria:

• A relevant degree in marketing, communications or digital and 1 years relevant experience OR 4 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of planning, delivering, analysing digital campaigns, practical design software experience
• Experience in delivering and analysing digital strategies/campaigns
• Social media knowledge, knowledge of HTML, CSS, SEO
• Supporting development of digital organisational strategy
