Job Description
MCS Group is proud to be working with an innovative, rapidly scaling technology organisation whose products are used globally across many industries in their search for a Principal Front-End Developer. The Principal Front-End Engineer will join an existing, scaling software engineering team to take on responsibility for the front-end and user interface of their core software platform - in a role which will encompass front-end architecture and design, strategy, to hands-on coding.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Front-End Engineer to join a hugely successful team in a newly created position within their engineering division. Key Responsibilities:
The Front-End Architect will define and drive the architectural vision and roadmap for all front-end and UI work within the organisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
You'll design, develop, and optimise scalable front-end systems using React.js and related technologies.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, supporting the Head of Engineering, back-end developers and product managers, to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.
You'll research, evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and frameworks to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
You'll have the chance to provide technical leadership and mentorship to front-end developers as the team scales, fostering skill development and growth.
You'll conduct code reviews and enforce adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
Salary
- Up to £85,000 with a competitive benefits package which includes 10% bonus and share options.
