Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a successful team in a newly created position. Brilliant product, great opportunity with extreme growth potential in a business which has secured series A funding this year.

The Role

• CI/CD Pipelines: Design and manage efficient CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth code integration, automated testing, and seamless application deployment across environments.
• Infrastructure Automation: Build and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, promoting automation and standardization across deployments.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure, primarily on AWS, while ensuring optimal system performance, security, and scalability.
• Scripting and Automation: Write and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, monitoring tools, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to ensure compliance and system integrity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and support teams to streamline workflows, while mentoring junior engineers in DevOps principles and practices.
• Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues in cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and deployed applications to maintain system reliability.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and refine DevOps processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support agile development methodologies.

The Person

• You'll have at least 6 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer and a track record of being obsessed with automation! This role encompasses overall infrastructure, network and databases not just creating CI/CD pipelines so naturally it suits candidates with varied experience within DevOps.
• You'll be proficient with AWS services and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• You'll have a security focused mindset when it comes to workflow and applications sitting on AWS cloud.
• You'll naturally be a hands on technologist who is keen to join a company with an ethos of "less meetings more action".
• You'll have the right to work in Ireland (EU Citizen/Stamp 4 Visa)
• Happy to work in a hybrid model with 2 days on-site and 3 days from home in Dublin.

Salary
Salary of up to €120,000 DOE. Comprehensive benefits package.
