Senior Data Engineer

The Role

• Provide fact-based analytics and insight to drive business decision making
• Analyse system requirements and initiate data transformations
• Design infrastructure projects and proof of concept business solutions
• Execute new ETL work tracks
• Improve data storage and improve efficiencies making effective use of data
• Carry out data migration projects

The Person

• Solid experience working with SQL/Oracle
• Big Data expertise with Python/PySpark/Spark
• Experience in managing Data Teams
• Experience with data infrastructure in Unix scripting/SQL/Domino
• The ability to communicate well and build good working relationships
